Accessing Aspen (report cards/grades, etc.)
The district is excited to introduce a new self-service password reset feature for the Aspen Parent Portal that allows parents to reset their Portal passwords. We've prepared user-friendly guidance materials, including a comprehensive video tutorial and PDF (please review the attached file) instructions, to support parents and staff through this process.
The portal support team remains available at portal@bwrsd.org for any questions or additional assistance.

RI Kids Count Poetry Contest
Dear Community Partners,
Rhode Island KIDS COUNT is seeking submissions of poetry from our local children, youth, and parents in our communities to share their talent for creative expression to be included in the 2025 Rhode Island Kids Count Factbook and possible future editions going forward.
We will select six poems to be featured in our upcoming Factbook. Poetry can be in English or other languages and should be 100 words or less. Topics for poems may include Rhode Island, community, children, family, school, education, equity, youth voice, poverty, healthy foods, housing, health, safety, juvenile justice, foster care, parents, and caregivers.
Please submit one poem per person only. Selected poets will receive a $100 honorarium and will be acknowledged in the Factbook upon completion of a Poem Selection Release Form. Please send poetry submissions with poet’s name, age or grade, and your local town or school name by January 3, 2025 to Ms. Galarza at wgalarza@rikidscount.org.
Seeing local poetry published in our Factbook is exciting for all writers of any age and I am looking forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on 401-351-9400 x 212.
Thank you,
Paige Parks, EdM (she/her)
