Have a great summer everyone!
Summer Learning
The "summer slide" refers to the learning loss that many students experience during the summer months when they’re not in school. Without regular practice, important reading and math skills can slip, making it harder for students to start the next school year strong. To help prevent this, we encourage students to keep learning throughout June using the resources they’re already familiar with. i-Ready, DreamBox, and Raz-Kids will remain available during the month of June and offer fun, engaging ways for your child to continue building their reading and math skills at home.

Care Solace - Help when you need it
NYCSD has partnered with Care Solace to support the well-being of students, staff, and their family members. Care Solace is a complimentary and confidential care coordination service that can help you find mental health or substance abuse treatment options matched to your needs regardless of circumstance.
Care Solace has Care Companions (customer service) available 24 hours/7 days to assist students, staff, and their families. Care Solace is not a treatment provider. Rather, it acts as a care coordinator by connecting the user to the provider.
