With 29 years of experience in education, Mr. Armbrust joins the Cardinal Family as our K-12 Director of Bands and Music.
Why did you choose Dryden?
I was looking for a school where I could build a program and teach at all levels.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Sharing my passion of music with all my students!
What would you like your new Dryden family to know about you?
I am very excited to begin teaching in Dryden Schools. Music has been an essential part of my life for over 40 years. Music has a way of enriching one’s life in so many ways, and I love to help students develop not only a love of music but also a level of excellence so they can experience all that music has to offer. I have been married for 31 years and have four amazing children. I look forward to becoming part of the Dryden family!
Fresh off a year of teaching in North Branch, Mr. Sam Peyerk has returned to his hometown and will be teaching Math. Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Practical Math at Dryden High School.
Why did you choose Dryden?
Dryden has always been home for me. I grew up in Dryden and I graduated from Dryden High School in 2018. I have always loved the small town community and the school district, so when the chance came to come back and work in the school, I had to do it.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Getting to work with all of the students in the classroom and in athletics and to see all the students grow throughout the school year.
What would you like your new Dryden family to know about you?
Along with teaching math, I am very passionate about sports. I look forward to helping out with the Dryden football program and the basketball program as well.
