Here at the Parent Center, we are open to all families, parents, guardians and staff. We are here to provide the strongest level of support to our students and families by strengthening parent and community involvement on campus. This is an opportunity to serve as an outreach link to ensure that all students and families needs are successfully addressed.

The recent actions by President Trump regarding immigration have caused concern and uncertainty in our community. Silver Creek would like to reiterate our commitment to providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for ALL of our students. We commit ourselves to protecting the privacy of student records and information and will not share that information unless required by law. Election for Silver Creek High School PTSA Board members 2025-26
SCHS PTSA Nomination Committee would invite you to consider a role on the PTSA Board/Committee. Please join SCHS PTSA board, if you would like to be more involved as a parent leader/volunteer. Any registered member in SCHS PTSA can serve on our board once elected.
If you’re interested in becoming part of PTSA board member please fill out google form stating the position (s) you’re interested along with any relevant experience.
To be eligible for election and/or to vote, you must be a member of the Silver Creek High School PTSA at least 30 days before the election. Our officers serve a 2 year term and term out every election period.
The SCHS PTSA Nominating Committee will review interested candidates and selected slate will be presented in April 2025 PTSA general Association meeting for voting.

Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges. In this nationally recognized curriculum, receive a certification after completion of this course.
In this course you will learn: risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, information on depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and addiction disorders, a 5-step action plan to help someone developing a mental health problem or in crisis, and where to turn for help- professional, peer, and self-help resources.

Starting in the 2025-26 school year, CA Education code 53008 requires all K-2nd grade students to be screened for reading difficulties, including dyslexia, using a state-approved screener. By June 30, 2025, a state-approved screener(s) must be adopted by all local educational agencies (LEAs) that serve K-2nd grade students.
The Santa Clara County Office of Education is hosting an informational session about the state-approved reading difficulties risk screening instruments. Participants from different local educational agencies (LEAs) will have an opportunity to hear about the approved screeners and engage in a discussion after the presentations.

The Youth Elevate Conference, hosted by the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) TUPE Peer Advocate Advisory Council (PAAC), will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the SCCOE, 1290 Ridder Park Drive, San Jose.
