Hello Students, Parents, and Guardians:
In this P.E. Newsletter, you will find activities and challenges that the K-5 students have participated in the month of January, 2024. The K-2 students played some HERO games (Superman/girl, Batman/Robin) where students were leaders and helpers. Also, they warmed up to some exercise videos. The K-3 students learned floor hockey skills, as well as participated in floor hockey stations practicing dribbling, shooting, passing and 1v1 challenges. In addition, the K-2 students worked on their jump roping skills, as well as playing a cooperative circle dodge ball game. The 3-5 students played a cooperative game called Block-um where the students had different jobs to achieve a team goal. (Builders, Defenders and Knockers) Also, the 3-5 students practiced their floor hockey skills of dribbling, passing, shooting. In addition, they played lead-up floor hockey games such as shooting the puck at the pin, 1v1 rock, paper, scissor hockey games, as well as mini hockey games.
