FHS~Weekly Update
April 14th, 2024
Purple Up Day-Monday, April 15th
We are honored that more than 25% of our student population is military-connected. This makes a celebration month like Month of the Military Child especially important to our school district and the mission we have to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s responsibilities.
D49 understands our military-connected youth face unique circumstances which can be challenging as well as provide distinctive opportunities for growth and success. That’s why D49 recognizes Monday, April 15, 2024 as Purple Up! Day in our school district. We invite our parents, students and staff to wear purple on this day in support of military children and families.
Falcon High School is excited to announce that in honor of our military students, we will be hosting Colorado Lieutenant Governor, Dianne Primavera, for an all-school assembly. Lt. Governor Primavera will be part of an assembly show-casing students from across the Falcon Zone, as we celebrate our military students, and read The Month of the Military Child Proclamation.

FHS~Testing Update
Parents and Students please remember that we will be collecting chromebooks and chargers from students TOMORROW April 15th. Please remind your students to pack them in their backpack tonight. In order to have a successful testing session, FHS needs access to all computers that were issued to our students. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us prepare for a great testing week.
Please note that the schedule for April 18th for CMAS 11 Science will run in two sessions. The morning session is for accommodated students and students with the last name A-L (check in 730-10:30) and the afternoon session will take place beginning with check in at 11:30-1:30 last name alpha M-Z. There was a typo in the parent information letter.
Please remember if your student is not scheduled to test....they DO NOT attend school as there will not be any in person instruction. All students must be picked up with 30 after the exam is over. Please DO NOT come and get your student until your student has exited the exam, as they will not be dismissed early!
Thank you Falcons! Let's have a great week.

Hi families! We're excited to tell you more about the trip we're planning with EF Tours, our educational partner. Please register for our info session to be considered for our upcoming travel opportunity. In our session, we'll cover everything from how this opportunity will benefit your child, what's included in the experience, how we'll keep the trip safe and affordable, and much more. Plus, if we haven't met yet, it's a good chance to learn more about me as both an educator and a Group Leader. Registration for this session is mandatory to help organize our meeting, and a parent or guardian must attend. Can't make it? Choose "No, but send info" so you don't miss out.
