Principal's Message
Karrer Parents-
This week most our 8th graders visited Washington, D.C. They had beautiful weather, made great memories and are sure to come home exhausted this evening. Those 8th graders that didn't attend the trip made some local stops to places like the Columbus Zoo, COSI and the Statehouse downtown.
First quarter report cards will be available to view in Infinite Campus on Saturday, October 26. Go to https://www.dublinschools.net/departments/technology/infinite-campus and click on How Do I View Grades? for instructions.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Brooke
Karrer Library Partnering with Columbus Metropolitan Library
Families of 6th graders,
The Karrer Library is partnering with the Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) to provide wider access to digital and physical reading materials and high quality research databases.
This fall, the Karrer library will set up each Karrer 6th grader with a CML Kids Card account, sharing the student’s first name, last name, date of birth, and school email address. Even if a student has a Full Access (standard) CML card, we encourage students to receive a Kids Card. Brendan Erb, Karrer’s library media specialist, will have a record of Karrer’s Kids Card account numbers and PINs so teachers and students can rely on regular access during instructional time.
A CML Kids Card provides the following benefits:
Checkouts of up to five books at a time on the account
Ebook and audiobook access through Libby, CML’s digital reading app
Access to digital databases for research
Your child will automatically receive a physical CML Kids Card in November unless you fill out this form to opt out of this service. If you have further questions, please contact Brendan Erb at erb_brendan@dublinschools.net
