Such a fun day to be a kindergartener!
Kindergarten Game Bags
Shout out to our amazing Pacific Ridge Elementary PTO who purchased board games for all our kindergarten classrooms this fall. We said goodbye to traditional homework and hello to fun-filled learning experiences! With the support of our PTO, we introduced board games that focus on developing essential skills like managing emotions, following rules, and more!
These engaging games help our kindergarteners:
- Practice managing emotions through cooperative play
- Learn the importance of following rules and routines
- Develop responsibility by taking care of materials
- Sharpen their memory by remembering directions and tasks
We believe that learning should be enjoyable and interactive, and these games are designed to make skill-building an adventure!

Community Information:
Resilient Clatsop County network is working on an education and action campaign about ACEs, trauma, and resilience. They are ready to launch a community survey. The intention of the survey is to get an understanding of how people define their community, how they like to receive information, their general knowledge of the campaign theme, and their support systems. The survey is brief and should take an average of 5 minutes to complete.
Does your family need food for the weekends? We can help!
Pacific Ridge Families:
When children are hungry, they aren't able to focus on the job of learning. The Food4Kids Seaside Program is available to help! This program is designed for children who attend Pacific Ridge Elementary School and may not have enough food on the weekends. The volunteers at Food4Kids provide a backpack or bag filled with food on the last school day before each weekend. Students will bring this food home from school on Fridays.
If you have more than one child in need of a food bag, please fill out this form for each child.
