The Book Fair is Coming!
Hello High Point Family!
This is Mrs.Block wanting to let you know that I am SO excited for the Scholastic Book Fair to be returning this winter! Your kiddos will be taking home a flier and a letter explaining more about Book Fair. I really want to point out that unfortunately tax is not included in the book price. I want to give families plenty of time to sit down together and decide which books your kiddos might want to get and figure out how much money they will need since tax is not added to the book price. I will also need volunteers to help me out and I have created a sign up genius if you would like to help!
I created a Book Fair Slide that includes all the important links you may need for Book Fair: E-wallet, your child's Book Fair schedule, online version of the flier, volunteer sign up, the Scholastic Book Fair link, and an online copy of the letter that was sent home. Please use this slide as a resource to help you and your students feel ready for Book Fair!
The book fair will be open from 3-5pm on Tuesday, December 3rd for all families.
I am looking forward to Book Fair week (December 2nd-5th) and can't wait for the students to walk away with some new and exciting books!

PTA Family Directory Information
The PTA would like to create a paper directory to share with families. The directory would include the name of your student(s), address, parent phone number, parent email, and parent name. This could be used to arrange play dates and outside of school functions.
When completing your yearly Infinite Campus update, you were asked if directory information could be shared. If you checked "no", your student's information will not be shared. If you are not sure or you DO NOT want specific information printed, please fill out this form by December 13th. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Mrs. Beaver.

Please send your student will appropriate warm clothing for recess. (It is helpful if you put your child's name in their coats as many times they show up in the lost and found)
PTA NEWS
A huge thank you to all of our walk-a-thon raffle sponsors. With their generosity and support for our school we were able to have 146 prize winners this year! Keep an eye out for prizes your students may be bringing home this week and next. If your student did not win anything, there is still a chance. Nine prizes will be drawn for at the assembly at the end of November.
Thank you raffle sponsors!!
Let’s get earning! We are trying to revive our efforts for this fundraising opportunity for the school. Many may remember collecting the boxtops and sending them into the school; the process has now been digitalized through an app. During the month of November when new users use the Box Tops for Education referral code (X3ER9JC8), the school will get a bonus of $5 upon signing up and scanning your first receipt. Earning is easy with the following steps: Download the app, Create an account (use referral code above), Choose Highpoint Elementary, Purchase qualifying items, Scan receipt within 14 days of purchase, Receive school earnings. This is a simple way to kickstart our participation in this program and support our amazing school!
Math News from Mrs. Jividen
