Weekly Bulldog Bits

Please join us for Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 27th. There will be important information shared by both Ms. Arroyo and the PTA in the courtyard. 4:45 pm- PTA; 5:00 pm- Ms. Arroyo

From 5:30-6:30, teacher presentations will begin. This is where you will have an opportunity to hear your student's teacher share about protocols, schedules and important information. As a reminder, this is not the time to discuss individual students or to have a teacher conference. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you that night! This is an adult only event as it is packed with details.

Attention parents/guardians!!! Students need to wait to get out of cars at the loading area or wait until a staff member gets them out of the car at drop off. The loading/unloading area is clearly marked with signs and we need to work together to get everyone to school safely. Please remember the Valet Loop is only for the grades 1-5; TK/Kindergarten must be walked to the gate.

Also, parents/guardians are not allowed past the school gate. If your child needs a forgotten item please bring it to the front office. All volunteers must check in first before coming onto campus. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to maintain a safe campus.

Home lunches brought after your student has started school must be dropped off by 10:45 am to the cart outside the office. Your student's lunch should be clearly labeled with first name, last name, and room number. We highly encourage you to teach your child to be responsible and bring their own lunch daily if they are bringing a home lunch.

Get those smiles ready! Fall picture day is Thursday, September 5th, 2024! Be sure to be well rested and on time.

Please remember to use safe driving practices when picking up and dropping off your students. As we have various release times please be mindful and observant.

In observance of Labor Day there will be no school Monday, September 2nd, 2024. Please mark this day on your calendars and enjoy the three day weekend.

A Message from the Hirsch PTA:

The Hirsch PTA would like to welcome all our families to the new school year! We have a variety of programs, activities, events and fun plans for our Bulldogs for this year, we cannot wait to share them with you and we look forward to seeing you all at “Back to School Night” on Tuesday! Please stop by at the PTA table to have a chat with us and find out about the many programs we help run at our school. We are here to help and we would love it if you joined us this year! Together, we can make miracles and enrich our students school years!

Here are some updates:

PTA helped sponsor an Ice cream Social during Hirsch's Chalk the Walk event before the first day of school. We hope our families had fun getting together, we definitely feel the amazing positive vibes to start off this year! We LOVE our teachers and staff here at Hirsch, they go above and beyond for our children. We hope they enjoyed a fun breakfast to welcome them back to school. We look forward to an amazing year ahead! Thank you to everyone who participated!
