Fall Break
We are quickly approaching Fall Break. It's a great time to take a breather, recharge, and spend quality time with family and friends. Whether you're planning a getaway or looking forward to some downtime at home, we hope you have a fantastic break.
CCPS Lighthouse Cohort 2
The Catoosa County Board of Education believes that a well-informed community helps to support the work and direction of public schools. By providing opportunities for Catoosa County residents to engage with the district and to learn about the complex inner workings of district operations, we hope to cultivate a more knowledgeable and engaged community.
Beginning in the fall of 2024, we will welcome our second Community Lighthouse Academy cohort. During the Academy, participants will learn about key aspects of the school district, have the opportunity to share ideas, and discuss the future of CCPS with district leaders.
Please see the attached letter for additional information and if you are interested in attending, please submit an application by completing this form.
We look forward to meeting with our community members this year!
Catoosa County Marching Exhibition
The Catoosa County Marching Exhibition has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 24th at 7:00 pm at Ringgold High School. Come out and see all three county band shows for free at this great event!

Perfect Attendance
September Attendance Winner
A huge thank you to Communities in Schools for their incredible support in encouraging student attendance.
We're excited to celebrate our September Attendance Winner, who received a special reward thanks to the generosity of CIS.
Attendance matters, and your dedication helps our students succeed. Feathers UP!
CTAE
JROTC
A huge Feathers Up to the JROTC Raiders for hosting a successful meet at LFO on Saturday, October 5th.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work, leadership, and dedication. Thank you to all who participated and supported the event!
Drafting and Design
Our students are turning their ideas into reality using cutting-edge tools like the 3D printer to bring their creations to life. The hands-on experience is just one example of how our CTAE programs provide authentic learning opportunities, helping to build a workforce that is career ready at graduation.
Basic Agriculture
Our Basic Agriculture students have been hard at work in the greenhouse, getting hands-on experience with fall plants. From preparing soil to caring for new seedlings, they are learning valuable skills that will benefit them for years to come.
Healthcare
Last week, our students were busy learning the fundamentals of healthcare in the most unique way - through a Jack-o'-lantern project!
From anatomy basics to hands-on creativity, they carved out both knowledge and pumpkins. This activity helped our future healthcare heroes understand essential skills while having a spectacular time.

Safety is a Priority
Catoosa County Public Schools wants our community to know that the safety of our students is our top priority. To maintain a safe environment, we encourage all students to follow the important guideline: "If you see or hear something, say something."
Saying something can make a big difference! You can talk to a trusted adult, teacher, school counselor, or principal. Additionally, if you need to reach out, you can start a text by sending "HELLO" to 741-741. Remember, your safety matters, and together, we can help keep our schools safe and secure.
