Mr. Hiti's Message
Have you asked your student what they are currently reading? This is a great way to have a conversation with them, find out what they are reading, and if they are comprehending what they are reading about. You will also find out what they are interested in, which could lead to other ways for you to get to know them as they prepare for high school.
A great way to check for understanding is to have your student read a newspaper or magazine article and then discuss it with them. Those are usually short, and create ways for you to check reading levels and a student’s ability to pull out key information. We want students to be able to read and comprehend material. Thank you for your assistance at home!

The BFF is 2 weeks away!
Have you bought your tickets yet for the BFF? Purchase tickets for the adult-only party now for $25 each or $40 per couple here before ticket prices increase!
We're also still looking for donations and sponsorships. Use the same link to let us know what you can donate - experiences, gift baskets, gift cards, parties - everything supports our school!
Seeking Volunteers for the BFF
The planning team is doing an amazing job putting together the details for the BFF! Now we need some help making it all happen that day. Have some time before the auction? Sign up to help with set up. Many hands make light work and the shifts sometimes end early if enough people come to help. If you plan to attend, there are spots to help during the event.
Aren't able to attend or have commitments during the day? We're also looking for wine donations! Ways to help and sign-up can be found here.
