CR 14 & CR 15H Bridge Replacement
The County is preparing to widen CR 14 between Hammans Ct. and Candle St. and to replace the bridge just east of CR 15H). Because the bridge conveys irrigation flows, we are restricted to completing the work outside of the irrigation season (Nov - Apr) rather than during the summer when school is out. Currently, we are anticipating construction activities to begin in November and continue through the spring of 2025. Due to space constraints, it may not be infeasible to keep the road open during construction and we are anticipating the possibility of a full road closure for at least a portion of that time.
I've included a map of the anticipated detour routes during the closure. We will be setting some digital message boards a week before the closure as well as signage to indicate the detour routes.
Please let me know if there are any steps the County can assist with regarding bus stops or routes.
Thanks,
Devin Traff, P.E.
