ANNOUNCEMENTS
Talent Show Tryouts May 3rd and May 10th 2024
We are excited to share that we will be hosting our annual talent show on May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd during assembly periods!
We will be having tryouts this Friday on May 3rd and Friday May 10th immediately following dismissal in the auditorium. Students are only required to come to one audition date. Permission slips were sent home with the students and we have extras in the main office.

New York State Math Test (Grades 6th and 7th)

New York State Science Test (8th Grade Only)
The Assessment in Science asks students to demonstrate scientific knowledge and to apply scientific concepts, formulate hypotheses, make predictions, or use other scientific inquiry techniques. The 2024 grades five and eight Science tests each consist of a single session that will be administered in one day. Students will have as much time as necessary within the confines of the regular school day to complete the test. The test is taken on the computer.

PTA Elections - May 28th at 6:00PM
It's that time of the year again! All positions are open to volunteer for the PTA. We'll be having our election on Tuesday, May 28th at 6:00PM in the school auditorium. This meeting will be in person, please use the main entrance located on Forest Ave. Doors will open at 5:45pm.
Also, the elections for the SLT parent - members and Title I will be happening at this meeting.
Honor Roll Ceremony - May 28th following PTA the elections

Freewheelin' is an original story written and directed by Mr. Biggin our Drama director, and will be performed by our IS 93 Drama Club students with music and lyrics by Bob Dylan. Opening Show is on Tuesday May 28th during a Special Assembly at 8:45AM and again during 3rd Period Assembly. We will perform an Encore performance on Tuesday afternoon in the IS93 Auditorium at 3PM for parents/guardians and other invited guests.
