We are so excited about the 2024-2025 school year! This year's theme is "Soaring to New Heights!" As we reflect on the past school year, we celebrate all that we have accomplished academically, socially, and as a school community. And now, we are ready to continue to build on the strong foundation we have created as we soar to new heights!

As we wrap up another school year, we are already busy planning for the year ahead. Many of our teachers and staff are engaging in professional learning this summer. We also hope that they are taking time to relax with family and friends after a year of hard work!

Back by popular demand! We are excited to announce that the Extreme Summer Challenge is back! Pasco County Schools invites current PK-Grade 11 students to participate in the Extreme Summer Challenge to increase literacy and mathematics skills.

The goal is for students to increase their math and reading proficiency by practicing the skills tailored to each student with learning and practice exercises that fully engage the learners with Beanstack, Zearn, and Lexia will be utilized providing differentiated learning pathways to engage students in building knowledge and skills for math and literacy. Students may engage in one or all challenges for prizes. Find all of the details in this flyer.

Who: All Pasco County students in current PK-Grade 11

What: THE Extreme Summer Challenge

When: May 25 - July 9

Where: Take the challenge by launching into the programs on your myPascoConnect dashboard in Beanstack, Lexia, and Zearn.

Why: This challenge grows your brain AND you have the chance to win prizes! Some of the prizes include tech giveaways.

The SAC is a team of people representing various segments of the community - parents, teachers, administrators, support staff, and business/community partners.

Are you interested in serving on our School Advisory Council for the 2024-2025 school year? If so, please email Mrs. Shauger at ashauger@pasco.k12.fl.us by August 1. Voting will take place at Meet the Teacher Day on August 7.

We are looking forward to meeting our new kindergarten Peeps at the beginning of August! Parents are invited to stay after drop off on August 1 for some information sharing from the administration. This is such an exciting time for the families of our newest Cranes, and we know the kindergarten team will plan an engaging and fun time for our students!

Meet the Teacher Day is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7 from 10 am to 3 pm. Teachers will not be unavailable from 12-12:30 pm so that they may have lunch. Car tags, bus information, and the PTA will be set up in the cafeteria. You will also be able to pay your student fees at that time if you have not already paid them on Rycor. Any school supply packs that were ordered will be delivered to the classroom for you on or before that day. Teacher assignments for the students will be shared on Meet the Teacher Day, as they will not be finalized before this time.
