We've had a strong start to the new school year so we want to thank our students and their families for the smooth transition. We're halfway through the first six weeks already!

This year we will be inviting grandparents onto campus to join their little one for a muffin and coffee. Please make sure to rsvp in order to attend so we can have enough supplies. RSVP will close on Wed. Sept 4. Students at the annex in CACOST classrooms will report to the event at the main campus and then parents/grandparents may take them to the annex. Our attendance goal for the year is 95%. For the first 3 weeks we have averaged 94% so we are very close to meeting our goal! 95% attendance means less than 30 students absent per day. We commonly see lowest attendance numbers on Mondays and Fridays. Please keep in mind Monday is when new concepts are taught and Friday is when we check to make sure students learned. We need students at school every day to learn!

This year we are using IXL to give students online practice in Reading for all grade levels. We are also using IXL for math in grades 3-12. PK-2nd grade students will use Age of Learning for math practice. Both of these programs can we used at home as well. Reach out to your child's teacher for more information.
