Enrollment Change Request Form
Enrollment Change Request
At this time, families are able to request to change the learning mode for their student(s) for the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Students who are currently attending school in-person in can switch to virtual, and students who are enrolled in virtual can switch to in-person. If you do not wish to switch your child’s learning mode, no action is necessary.
Requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Submitting the form linked in this email does not guarantee a request will be granted. Requests will be reviewed by building and district leadership and the parent/guardian will be notified. If approved, the change will be effective for the second semester (January 6, 2025 - June 6, 2025). Please carefully consider this semester-long commitment before submitting this application, as requests to change during the second semester will not be granted. However, the District may change your child’s learning mode if appropriate academic progress is not met throughout the semester.
If you are interested in changing your child’s learning mode for the second semester, please fill out this application. You will need to submit one request for each student.
Enrollment Change Request Form
This application will close on December 16th. You will be notified by the District of your child’s application status and specific information will be provided about the switch.

Senior Information
FAFSA
FREE Application for Federal Student Aid
Attention Senior Parents,
The FAFSA (FREE Application for Federal Student Aid) will officially open December 1st for this year’s senior class. Regardless of financial situation, it is recommended all senior students apply and submit their FAFSA to any higher institutions they are considering attending. The application is FREE. Submitting the FAFSA does NOT consent for loans to be dispersed. The FAFSA allows for a student aid report to be made for your child that breaks down the costs of attending a particular college/university.
Please go to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa to apply for federal aid for your child for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.
NEW THIS YEAR- by filling out the FAFSA your child can become eligible for:
- The Michigan Community College Guarantee which offers FREE Community College tuition for in county student’s regardless of family income
- If you receive the federal Pell grant, you’re eligible for a $1,000 bonus to help pay for living expenses like books, transportation, and rent.
- There are additional grant opportunities through the Michigan Achievement Scholarship for Universities and Career Training programs by filling out FAFSA.

Class of 2025 Diploma Information
Attention Senior Parents:
Please use the link below to type the name you wish to be placed on your child's high school diploma. Student name must be their LEGAL name, no nicknames. It can include middle name, middle initial or be left out completely. Most students choose to spell it out. Please use upper and lower (A, a) case letters appropriately as this is how it will be printed. Failure to respond will result in your child's name to be printed how it is in PowerSchool. Please reach out to your child’s counselor with any questions.
Transportation
Reminder Regarding FHS Parking Tags
ALL students who drive to school MUST have a 2024/25 parking tag displayed from their rearview mirror to park in the student lots at Fraser High School. These tags are blue or gray in color. Previous year tags are not valid. Security checks for valid tags, along with enforcing all the FHS Driving & Parking Lot Rules, will continue throughout the school year. Untagged vehicles may be ticketed or towed. Students who violate the parking rules may have their permit suspended or revoked and face the possibility of disciplinary action (suspension from school) by the school’s administration.
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors may purchase parking permits before or after school in Mr. Baker’s office, room #2710. Permits are sold on a “first come, first served” basis. Parking Permit Applications are available in all the Asst. Principal Office locations.
Student Drop Off
As we look forward to another school year, please take a moment to review the process that we have in place for traffic flow in our parking lots, so that everyone can enter and exit as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- If you live in our bussing area, please have your child take the bus.
- If you need to drop your student off, please try to do so before 7:10. There is very little waiting at that time.
- Please use the Klein road parking lot for drop off. This parking lot is usually much less congested.
- If you use the Garfield parking lot, please pull to the curb to drop your child off, and then proceed down past the main entrance before turning left to get in line to exit. Please do not use the parking lanes before the main entrance to enter the exit line.
I know that waiting in line can be frustrating, but if we all work together and follow the above expectations, the process should be better for everyone.
Thank you for your help and support.
