“Where faith soars, minds excel, and futures ignite”
*** Signups are now CLOSED. ***
Greetings STM-STC Families,
I want to start out by giving a huge shout out to Mrs. Thayer for her hard work, dedication and organization with coordinating our chocolate fundraiser. This year our school community hit this fundraiser out of the ball park! I am not going to spoil it here, but scroll down after you finish reading to see our 2024 Chocolate by the numbers graphic!
Secondly, PRE-K-1ST families will be receiving separate communication about new pickup procedures starting next Monday 10/14. Please make sure you read the entire letter/procedure and follow any specific directions given. Hopefully going back to parking in the newly lined church lot will help alleviate traffic moving forward.
Reminder that Wednesday is Grandparents day. Right now we have 65 grandparents signed up please remember to sign up so we can print your tags prior to Wednesday. This is an early dismissal day, so grandparents can take their student home at 11 if they wish, students will only have about another 40 minutes of school after its over.
Lastly, several new items have been added to our school store site, including grandparents gear! We are also going to be adding a few more items prior to Christmas. Right now turn around time is about 2-3 weeks. Sales have been solid so far, and anything purchased can be worn by the kids at school. I have seen a lot of the grey MD Flag hoodies lately! Reminder that at the end of the school year they cut us a check for 20% of total sales. Right now we have made about 600$, which is a great start!
Yours in Christ,
Matt Zipp
Please make sure you are communicating these dates with everyone in your family. There have been a few occasions where students have been here well past the early dismissal times or even on days off, a grand parent or family member is sitting out front waiting for dismissal. See below for the upcoming early dismissals and days off, and forward to those who are responsible for picking your child up. Thank you!

2024 Christmas Bazaar
….."You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"
The Christmas Bazaar is by far our largest event. We ask each family to donate six hours (or more) for each child in the school. Volunteers may be parents, grandparents, or other responsible persons over the age of 14. Each grade will sponsor a booth or stand, but feel free to sign-up to work any stand, that needs help!
There is a spot where you can write the name of the student you are volunteering for, if you have a different last name from the student to ensure they get credit towards the mandatory 20 hours! Use the link below to sing-up for your shift. Earn a dress down pass for each extra shift worked.
** Please complete your VIRUTS training PRIOR to working the event. The link can be found at the bottom of the newsletter under Important Links. **
