Warrior Weekly

Our students are already showcasing their talents and interests in their Exploratory classes this year. The halls are filled with beautiful voices from Chorus and upbeat music in Band, while Art students are creating masterpieces. Students are hard at work learning and using new programs in Fundamentals of Computing, Yearbook, and Video Production. We definitely can't forget about all the learning and fun taking place in P.E. at WMS! So many great things are happening here!

Of course, our cafeteria staff helps to make sure that students have the right nutrition to keep them focused and energized by providing a healthy breakfast and lunch to all students, free of charge. These ladies are such an important part of our Warrior family and we are so grateful to them for nourishing our minds, body, and soul.

Remember that school will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day.

Interim reports will be sent home with students on Tuesday, September 3rd.

The DHEC recommended student health screenings will be completed at WMS on 09/24/24 through science classes. We will check vision, hearing, and dental on all 7th graders and height, weight, and BMI on all 8th graders. If you want to opt out of the screenings, please write the nurse a note or e-mail her at pmcdill@gcsd.k12.sc.us.

Dental hygienists are working to schedule a day (TBD) to visit WMS to do exams, cleanings, x-rays, and sealants if needed. If you are interested, please scan the QR code below or download and complete the attached paperwork and return it to the nurse.
