π²ππ²ππ²πBIKE CHALLENGE!π²ππ²ππ²π
Students who participated in this year's BIKE CHALLENGE will be bringing home their "Just Ride Idaho" t-shirts next week and their invitation to the "Bike Challenge Closing Event & bike rodeo" at Tautphaus Park on June 8. We will have our drawing for a NEW TREK BIKE at our awards assembly on Thursday, May 30. This fabulous contest was sponsored by: Idaho Mountain Trading, Teton Toyota and BMPO Safe Routes to School.
Year-End Reports & Understanding ISAT scores
Hawk Families - we will be mailing students' ISAT reports home on June 4. Look for them in the mail at the end of that week. Our students had AMAZING GROWTH this year on our Idaho Standards Achievement Tests (ISATS) and our Idaho Reading Indicator tests! Take a look at the these fabulous graphs that show our growth as a school!
Idaho Reading Indicator - Highest Average Growth in D91!!!
Our ISAT English Language Arts growth was MUCH HIGHER than last year and HIGHER than the District Average.
- 5th Grade average growth - 55 points
- 3rd highest in D91
- 4th-6th Grade average growth = 53 points
- 2nd highest in D91
American Honey Princess - Lainey Bell
On Wednesday, the current "American Honey Princess". Lainey Bell visited our school and did an assembly on bee-keeping and why honey bees are so important to our world! You can find more information on her program and students can submit questions at this link: http://www.buzzingacrossamerica.com/
Attendance!
For the 2024-25 school year we will be EMPHASING ATTENDANCE by giving out awards for consistent attendance every trimester and by giving out prize-drawing tickets for students with great attendance. We will be fundraising and soliciting donations for our prizes, so if you or a business you know wants to donate, please let the office know.

Museum of Idaho - new exhibit!
There is a new exhibit at the Museum of Idaho (the big museum on the corner of Elm and Eastern). People who are actively serving in military are FREE! And families who are receiving Idaho SNAP benefits only pay $1 for admission. More information at this link: https://museumofidaho.org/visit/
