IT'S HERE!! THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

We are so excited for the school year to start!

This is just a short newsletter with some general info that will help you navigate the beginning of the school year. Please read below.

A more detailed Newsletter will be sent on Friday, September 13.

We are excited to offer a grade 7-12 Band Program!

If you're a high school student and want to earn extra credits, THIS is a great way to do so!
This year-long class will be held during the Rebel Block each day (period 5, right before lunch).
The school has access to a number of instruments to rent
The school will do its best to work with families to ensure this is financially feasible for all interested students

IMPORTANT!!

The Boys and Girls SENIOR Volleyball Teams have a PARENT MEETING Tuesday, September 3 at 6:30 here, at the school!

It is important for at least one parent/team member attend. The Sr VB teams will be participating in their first Tournament Septembers 6 and 7.

Battle River School Division believes it is important to promote a focused and productive learning environment.

The Division therefore aims to ensure that all students and staff understand and respect the guidelines regarding the use of cell phones and other electronic devices and social media within the school premises.

Students may not use personal mobile devices during instructional time. All personal mobile devices must be kept in silent mode or powered off during instructional time and stored in students' backpacks, bags, or locked lockers.

We thank you in advance for your continued support around these expectations and discussing with your children the importance of minimizing distractions and ensuring all students comply with the guidelines.

YOUR CHILD'S REGISTRATION VERIFCATION IS DUE IMMEDIATELY

Please do this immediately.

BRSD sent an email mid-August with the link to School Engage (the system you complete the forms in)
You can access School Engage through PowerSchool ---> School Engage
EACH CHILD requires a completed form (this is mandated by Alberta Government)
