Message from the Superintendent

Dear RSU 57 Community,

On this last day before winter break, I am filled with gratitude for the vibrant and supportive community we share. Over the past few weeks, our schools have been alive with energy and excitement as students and staff embrace the holiday season through spirited themed dress-up days, festive decorations, and outstanding choral and band performances across all of our schools. I especially want to highlight the winter concerts at both Massabesic Middle School and Massabesic High School this past week. These performances were incredibly well-attended by family, friends, and community members, showcasing the immense talent, dedication, and hard work of our students and staff.

Your participation in these events underscores the vital role that family and community involvement play in our students’ education and overall success. By coming together to support and celebrate their achievements, we create a collaborative environment that helps prepare our students for success in an ever-changing world. Thank you for your continued partnership and for being active participants in their educational journey.

As we enter this special time of year, I encourage you to take the opportunity to connect with your loved ones and treasure moments with friends and family. On behalf of the entire RSU 57 staff, I send warm holiday wishes to each of you.

We look forward to welcoming our students back to school in the New Year beginning on January 2, 2025. Until then, may your holidays be filled with joy, peace, and the company of those you hold dear.
