There's plenty of new spaces to explore and new faces to meet at Conferences next week! Come check out the remodeled Ag wing and SHS bathrooms, as well as meet the new SHS staff. 🍎High School Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday (Oct. 8th) and Thursday (Oct 10th) from 4-8pm

Students in Ms. Prendergast's Theatre class have been busy!

This past week they participated in an improv workshop with actors from the Dakota Players who are helping present The Superhero Show (see details below) and they also had a toga contest to help them celebrate learning about famous Greek playwrights and their contributions to theatre.

Students may apply to South Dakota’s public technical colleges and universities free of charge for two months each fall. During the free application period, you are encouraged to explore and apply to any of the public technical colleges and universities.

Stay caught up with your homework and grades by participating in Homework Help every Thursday in the SHS library from 3:20-5:00 pm. Come for a quiet space to work and extra support from teachers.

All seniors and their parents are invited to attend the Financial Aid Night on October 22nd at 6 PM in the high school library. A representative from Mapping Your Future will present many ways to fund a student's higher education. They will cover topics from the Free Applications For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to various scholarships available in the state. If you are unable to attend but would like the information, please contact Mrs. Filipek.
