"Advice from the Pros"
This week's tips on completing homework and staying on top of assignments:
~ “A Sunday well spent brings a week of content”- Plan out your week ahead of time. Work backwards and put in all tests/large assignments as well as any practices/games. Make sure you allot enough time to study and prepare for schoolwork. If it's a busy week and something has to give–schoolwork should take precedence.
~ Using a whiteboard or a physical calendar your child can hang in their room or a main room of the house is a great visual for students to refer to throughout the week. Work with them each week to fill in assignments and upcoming events.
~ Continue to foster that relationship with your child's teacher. If your child is struggling to juggle schoolwork and spring activities, please reach out to the teacher and make a plan together. We are here to work with you and develop strategies so everyone can finish the year strong!
God Bless You!
