Dear Parents and Guardians,

Standard Student Attire ballots have now been emailed. To ensure that we receive full participation from our wonderful community, please check the primary email you have listed in Infinite Campus. Please contact our school at 702-799-7470 if your primary email address is incorrect.

The balloting closes at the end of the day on May 17, 2024. Please vote "YES" for Standard Student Attire for the 2024-2025 school year.

Please remember we will start collecting Chromebooks on Tuesday, May 14th through your Math classes. We will be collecting all Chromebooks. You will not be able to keep your Chromebook over the summer. Please be ready to pay for any fines you have on that day.

You will be turning in the following items:

#1 - Chromebook

#2 - Working Charger

#3 - Carrying Case

If there is ANY WRITING, STICKERS, PAINT/POLISH, OR STICKINESS on the device or the carrying case, you will be charged a cleaning fee of AT LEAST $10.

There are many items in the lost and found bins in the cafeteria. Please make sure to have your child check the bins for lost items. All contents not picked up by May 21, 2024 will be donated.

• 6 & 7 Grade - SSA attire & IDs enforced all day
• 8th Grade - SSA attire & IDs for arrival and classes
• Dress Code for 8th Grade Water Day activities:
• Wear or bring clothes and shoes that can get wet, dirty and/or muddy
• No school inappropriate clothing, including swimwear or footwear
• Bag Policy:
• No backpacks, large bags, or binders
• Lunch bags allowed
• Small bags (6in X 8in) permitted
• Student Success Center Reminder For ALL Students:
• Unacceptable items confiscated at the Front entrance and will be kept until the end of the day;
• School inappropriate or illegal items will be kept for parent pickup and may include disciplinary action.

We have partnered with Trayvon at Masterpiece Chop Shop to provide free haircuts for our students. Haircuts will be scheduled for students on the second Wednesday of each month. Please use this form to recommend students in need of a haircut: Knudson Fresh Cuts for Kids. We will reach out to nominated students and let you know the day before if your child has been selected for a haircut.
