December 2024 Newsletter
Cottonwood School
Greetings Cottonwood Families
Cougar Families,
I hope you all had an extraordinary Thanksgiving Break. I can’t believe that we only have three more weeks of school and will be halfway through the year! As we approach winter/semester break, remind your scholars of the importance of finishing strong and continuing to do their best work.
We begin our MAPs testing this week which will help us place our scholars in small group instruction within the classroom, please make sure your scholars are getting a good night's sleep and know the importance of doing their best so we have an accurate measure of where they stand.
We have some great activities coming up so please read the coming events section below for dates and times. Saturday, December 14th we have our Christmas-themed Saturday School.
Don’t forget our Winter Concert on Thursday, December 12th. It is one of our biggest events of the year. We can’t wait to see our Elementary Scholars perform.
Reminders:
Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the colder weather and that their names are in their jackets. We collect 100’s of them every year.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office.
Wishing you all a joyful holiday season filled with love, laughter, and quality time with family and friends.
Take Care,
Mr. Trudel
