Weekly notes from the Principal's office ~ 9/29/23
Notes From the Principal's Office ~ January 10th, 2025
Happy New Year, BMS Families! We have had a busy and positive start to 2025, with exciting events and learning activities in and out of the classroom.
All students completed the IXL Diagnostic upon returning from break. These short ELA and Math assessments provide detailed data relative to student mastery of grade level standards in ELA and Math, as well as information about areas of strength and areas for continued growth. We are excited about the growth our students have made this year! We will be using this data to make grouping adjustments in WIN, and to help students target any needed skills to continue to grow in both ELA and Math. Students will also complete mid-year benchmarks at the end of January.
Caregivers are reminded that Quarter 2 closes in two weeks - on January 24th. Please check Powerschool with your student to ensure they have completed all assignments and have made up any missing work.
FROZEN, Jr. Opens TONIGHT!
Be sure to get your tickets online if you plan to attend Frozen this weekend! The show is almost sold out of all three days.
Some FROZEN, Jr. cast members previewed the show for BES and BIS this week. They had a great time taking the show "on tour" and delighting our elementary friends.
