Can you believe we are talking about the 2022-23 school year already? Please take a few minutes and fill out the Montgomery Student Information Form 2022-23. The form is due March 31, 2022. As always, we are not able to honor teacher requests! Fourth grade parents do not need to fill out this form nor do incoming kindergarteners. Parent Referral Option:
In the mornings: Tuesday, March 29th - Thursday, March 31st,
before school starts.
Montgomery - 7:50 Drop off at the circle.
Students will not be permitted in the building after 7:55
The student must attend all three mornings to complete the assessment.
Where?
Montgomery Elementary
Families are responsible for transportation.
Who?
Kindergarten - 4th grade by parent referral only

The little free library at Montgomery Elementary is open! All students learned about the purpose of the library and were able to visit and take home a book today! The free little library will remain open as long as we are able to keep it stocked with book donations. Thank you to those families that already sent in gently used books. We will be accepting book donations throughout the school year. Students can bring them in to Mrs. Messer, or they can be left outside our front entrance in the healthy drop off area. Dear Montgomery Families,
Our next General PTO Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 9 @ 9:30am at the Montgomery Elementary School Cafeteria/Auditorium. Please mark your calendars for this exciting opportunity to meet in person and once again visit the school. All guests will need to check in at the front office and follow all current Healthy Aves Protocols.
Our program will include a special guest presentation by Principal Matt Tudor of E.H. Greene Intermediate School. This will be an excellent opportunity for parents, especially those who have 4th graders, to initiate conversations with Mr Tudor and learn about the transition to 5th grade at E.H. Greene.
We also intend to present PTO members with our vision for the 2022-2023 school year and possible volunteer opportunities. As Montgomery Elementary continues to open up, the school will be in need of additional volunteer support from parents looking to make an impact. We're looking forward to welcoming everyone back!!!

Yearbooks can be ordered through Lifetouch by clicking here. The Yearbook ID is 14518622 and should auto populate. Price is $20 per unit. Orders will be accepted through the end of March.

Families who wish to submit photos for the yearbook can do so by emailing them to:

Please include descriptive text such as "first day of school, halloween, pajama day, snow day, winter break, etc." in order to help us organize the photographs both chronologically and by event. The more descriptive detail, the better.

Thanks to all who donated to the Sycamore Who-Dey Challenge! The District was thrilled to announce over $23,000 in total was raised. Your gift supported both Operation Give Back (OGB) and Sycamore Bridges in their efforts of assisting local families in need.
OGB has proudly served the Sycamore community for 20 years by providing after school tutoring services for elementary students, food and personal care items through our Community Food Pantry, as well as the OGB School Supply Giveaway and Holiday Store events. None of these programs would be possible without the generous support of donors and volunteers.

Sycamore Bridges launched in May 2019, advocating for children and families experiencing temporary crisis. To date, we have provided over $250,000 in goods and services to our neighbors. Needs are identified through an advocacy program to protect the identity of our recipients. They are then posted to our website and social media, where community members can respond to help fill the needs.
