Greetings Carroll Community,

It will be an exciting week for us here at Carroll High School! This Wednesday, we invite everybody to our Open House Night, which will start at 5:30 in the Arena. Also, this week, we start TIGER TIME (Power Hour)! This has been in the works since the end of last year, with our students advocating for this amazing opportunity for more engagement in club organizations and participation. Our staff and our campus advisory team is fully on board, our plans have been set, and we are ready to roll this week. Take a look at the resources below and talk to your tiger about their experiences during TIGER TIME. We look forward to all the positive change that increased student engagement in school activities will bring!

📝 BOY Testing Update! 📚

Our Beginning of Year (BOY) Testing is still underway, but we’ll be following a regular bell schedule during this period ⏰🎓. Please take a moment to talk to your child about the importance of completing these tests for each class. 📊✅ Your support helps ensure they understand how these assessments set the stage for their academic success and help us tailor our support to their needs.

🏟️ Game Day Reminder: Stay in the Stands at Games! 🏈

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask that during all games—whether in the arena or on the fields—parents remain off the sidelines, track, and turf. 🚫⚽️🏀 Please stay within the stands to support our athletes and keep the focus on their performance.This policy helps us maintain a safe environment for the players and allows everyone to fully enjoy the games. 📬 Important Attendance Notice: Look Out for “A” Letters! 📚

Keep an eye out for “A” letters being sent to students with 15 or more absences. These letters are part of our proactive approach to ensure that all students are staying on track academically. Please note that extreme absences may lead to potential truancy filings, as part of our commitment to ensuring students receive the full benefit of their education. 📋🚨 Good attendance is vital for student success. Being present each day and in every class period helps students stay engaged with their coursework, participate in important discussions, and build consistent study habits. Regular attendance is linked to better academic performance, social development, and a stronger connection to the school community. 🏫✨
