8th Grade STEM Days!
Our 8th graders had the opportunity to work through four STEM stations working with a flight simulator, 3d printers, robotic arms, and game programming. The students did extremely well and even got to meet some experts working in those fields currently. If 6th or 7th graders are interested in trying these out, they can attend our STEM Club after school from 3-4pm on Tuesdays!

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th - October 15th. Check out our library display created by Mrs. Kimminau to show off some of our books written about or by Hispanic Americans.
Project-Based Learning
Reading Competition
Ms. Baas' 6th grade literacy classes are competing to see which core can read the most books. A link describing the book is attached as class members finish reading. What a great way to increase reading skills, create friendly competition, and recommend good books! Way to go, Ms. Baas!

Community Parade
Clubs Have Begun!
All clubs run after school from 3-4pm. Rides must be there to pick up students in the front of the building promptly at 4:00. Students must have an After School Waiver filled out before attending any club. Be sure to check the After School Calendar to make sure the club you wish to attend is being offered as some of the clubs have a later start date than others.
Stay Connected
Sproul uses two systems to communicate with parents and students: Infinite Campus Portal (IC) and Remind. Please download both apps.
Infinite Campus - Look up your student's grades, attendance, schedule, fees, etc. Grades are posted in IC every Friday, so you check grades before the weekend. Some teachers use this system to email guardians. Please email ICHelpDesk@wsd3.org to request your parent portal access code.
Remind - Receive text messages about important events and reminders. Please make sure your email is correct in IC; otherwise, you will not be able to connect with Sproul in Remind.
**Both apps are important so that you can be connected with us and stay in the know.
While we do not want to flood your phone with notifications, the Sproul website is another great resource to use. You can always find us on Facebook & Instagram (@SproulJuniorHigh), use our calendar to see upcoming events, or subscribe to our News Posts section. There is also a page for Technology Information so that you can troubleshoot these apps.
