Volunteers will be in stores to provide a shopping list and receive the purchased items. With a goal of 43,000 pounds of food, KidsPak is hoping to surpass last year's total of 40,000 pounds generously donated by our community.

KidsPak was created in 2009 after a national news story highlighted the pervasive issue of weekend hunger in school students. In 2009 KidsPak served 34 students in 3 elementary schools within Thompson School District. Today KidsPak delivers weekend food bags to 675 students per week in 36 schools within the Thompson R2-J school district. Bags are also available at the Loveland Library, Salvation Army, Sunrise Health Clinic, Berthoud Library and Project Self-Sufficiency.

Loveland Public Library and Alternatives to Violence (ATV) invite teens to use their

writing talents for Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month in February. Teens are

encouraged to write about overcoming a bad relationship, celebrating a good relationship, or expressing their views on a healthy relationship. See flyer for details.

Join the Thompson Valley Theater Company for a St. Valentine's Day Ball. You will enjoy a 3 course dinner and a live preview performance of Thompson Valley's "Little Women". You can purchase tickets at http://tvtc.ludus.com/.

"Little Women" will be presented at the Roberta Price Auditorium at Thompson Valley High School on March 6, 7, 8 at 7 pm with a matinee on March 8th at 2 pm. Ticket information coming soon.

New drivers need to register your vehicle with the Security office or online.

Reminder: No parking allowed in the Visitor parking spaces during school hours. This also applies to field trips leaving before school hours. If you are going on a field trip, you must park in the designated student parking area.

TVHS Juniors: Mark your calendars! You'll be taking the Colorado SAT on April 16, 2025. You're already registered, so no action is needed. If you'd like to include the optional essay (adding about an hour to the test), please email Jeremy Lanter at jeremy.lanter@tsd.org by 4 PM on Monday, February 12th. Remember: A zero score will be reported if you register for the essay but don't take it. Please watch for further details about this important day. We encourage you to prepare and do your best!

The Rockies are excited to host the first-ever pregame College Fair at Coors Field on Thursday, April 10th. Prospective students can network with admissions representatives and enjoy an afternoon at the ballpark!

It is time for the third annual Pulsera Project! The Spanish Honor society and LUC club will be selling bracelets starting Monday February 10 through February 24.

The Pulsera Project's mission is to make the world a more colorful and just place by educating and empowering Central American communities and U.S. students.

We engage U.S. students in international service to provide economic opportunities for Central Americans. We also advocate for progressive ideas about international service that value economic aid as just one part of a mutual exchange that also includes the sharing of knowledge, ideas, and life experiences for the benefit of all.

Pulseras (woven bracelets) are $5 and bolsitas (bags) are $15. The money from sales is returned to the Central American artisan communities for educational and community support and development.

They will be for sale before school, ELOs and lunch in A77 except for one or two days in the cafeteria (tbd). We accept cash, venmo, paypal, apple pay, google pay.

Thank you to the Thompson Education Foundation and TVHS Athletics Program for investing in our students. The weight room has been updated with new Barbells, Bumper plates, Dumbbells, Machines, Benches, and storage shelves to help us maximize our space and give all students the best experience to create confidence and strength through physical activity in the weight room setting.

Student Insights is excited to offer the 2025 Colorado Senior Scholarship, in addition to our annual Student­ View Scholarship program. Students can apply for both scholarships with a single application.

The 2025 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering over $13,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school. The program includes:

• One $10,000 scholarship
• Two $1,000 scholarships
• Three $500 scholarships

All Colorado seniors who apply for the Student-View Scholarship will also be automatically be entered into the drawing for the new $500 Colorado Senior Scholarship.

The application process is simple and requires only 15-20 minutes.

• No minimum SAT/ACT score or grade point average
• No essay or lengthy application forms
• No application fees

Simply log on to www.student-view.com and complete an application survey about colleges in your area. The scholarship will be awarded via a random drawing of all completed applications.

The scholarship winner will be announced in May, 2025. The scholarship deadline is April 23. 2025.

It's that time of year again! We began the 2025-2026 Registration Process on Monday, January 27th. Students received their Grade-Level Registration Packet through their English class and watched a video on how to complete their registration form and their Course Plan in Infinite Campus during 3rd and 4th period. If your student was absent on this day, they should stop by the counseling office and grab their registration sheet ASAP. Additionally, you can click here to view the Registration How-To Video.

STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE THEIR REGISTRATION FORM AND INFINITE CAMPUS REGISTRATION (COURSE PLAN) COMPLETED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JANUARY 31ST!

Students will bring their registration sheets to school the following week so they can discuss their classes with their counselor. Here are a few important dates:

CURRENT FRESHMEN: Will meet with their counselor on Tuesday, February 4th, to discuss their class options and turn in their registration sheets. Their counselor will also be checking to make sure they completed their Infinite Campus Course Plan.

CURRENT SOPHOMORES: Will meet with their counselor on Wednesday, February 5th, to discuss their class options and turn in their registration sheets. Their counselor will also be checking to make sure they completed their Infinite Campus Course Plan.

CURRENT JUNIORS: Will meet with their counselor on Thursday, February 6th, to discuss their class options and turn in their registration sheets. Their counselor will also be checking to make sure they completed their Infinite Campus Course Plan.

If a student's registration sheet and Course Plan is not turned in by February 21st, your counselor will choose your classes for you next year, and you will not be able to change your schedule!

Please let your counselor know if you have any questions or concerns. Please also be sure to check your grade-level Google Classroom for important announcements and updates.

February is designated as American Heart Month (AHM). Below is some information on the heart. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US. Everyday the heart consists of 115,000 beats per day, and pumps at least 2,000 gallons of blood! If your heart ever was disconnected from your body...it would still continue beating. More heart attacks occur on Mondays than any other day of the week! In honor of AHM, let's all take care of our cardiovascular systems!

To begin the registration process, click on “Register Here” in the upper right corner of the main page to access BigTeams Student Central Login.

*NOTE: RevTrak is no longer the online payment platform used by TSD. Athletic fees can be paid through your parent portal account and will be available on October 1st. Carefully follow “Fee Instructions” that can be found on BigTeams and will direct you to your Parent Portal to process these athletic fees.

All students who are interested in a Spring sport must fully clear sports registration with a CHSAA Physical form and upload to their BigTeams account before they begin participation.

Healthy School Meals for All program.

This applies to Student Athletes in that if they qualify for assistance, we are permitted to waive the base fee for sports.

Apply as soon as possible if you have not already done so.

We ask that athletes provide the Athletics Office a copy of the Nutrition Services approval letter so we can waive base fees. This does take 10-14 business days to be finalized.

Students do not need to be registered in a World Language currently to test. The test is available in 100 or so different languages. Students already in Spanish 4 and 5 know about the test and will be registered.
