In November, reading logs and information for the Schlitterbahn Waves of Pages reading program went home in your child's Wednesday Folder. If your child fills out the reading log, they will earn a free ticket to Schlitterbahn! All of the details are on the linked reading log. If you need an additional reading log, please print out the linked copy and help your child fill it in.

Reading logs are due no later than February 2, 2025.

Classroom Winter Parties will be held on Thursday, December 19th.

If you plan to attend please complete the RSVP form. The form will be available thru 10:00AM on December 17th.

Our 24-25 Robotics Team tryout and introduction meeting will be Thursday, December 5th from dismissal until 4:30pm. Students will be dismissed from the front of the building near the office. Students have already received permission slips and will bring those completed, a water bottle and a snack. The meeting will be to give information about this year's new Vex Robotics program, go over expectations for the season and do some team building. All students participating will receive a letter on Monday, December 9th whether they made the team or not. This year's team will consist of 2 teams of 6 with a total of 12. This is a reboot year and so having a smaller group would be best to manage.

We are also looking for parent volunteers of chosen members to volunteer to attend the weekly meetings. Our goal is to build a robot using the VEX system by January so that we can play the game at the competition. The Apex Team is here to bring high-energy lessons about these leadership habits to our students every day for the next two weeks leading up to our Apex Obstacle Course event happening on 12/12/2024! Get ready to be inspired, empowered, and equipped with the skills to shape the future!
