LSN Students and families,
Hopefully it's been a great start to the 2024-25 school year. The LSN counseling office has been working hard enrolling new students, processing schedule changes and supporting students. In September, LSN promoted National Suicide Prevention Week with daily announcements and by passing out "988" business cards to remind students of the 24 hour a day, 7 days a week crisis prevention life line. The LSN counselors presented post-secondary planning information to seniors and sophomores in September and will present to juniors in October.
On Thursday, October 17, there will be an "all school" testing day. Students will have an opportunity to take a variety of tests, including; YouScience (freshmen), preACT (sophomores), practice ACT (juniors), and the ASVAB or Accuplacer (seniors). Sophomores and juniors who registered and paid by September 27th will take the PSAT. The LSN counseling department wishes you all the best for this school year!
