New Website: Bad link? Typo?

ParentSquare!
ParentSquare accounts
There are different levels of access in ParentSquare. All staff have a ParentSquare staff account and classroom teachers have "teacher" access so they can communicate with their students and their families. If you find you need a higher level of access to communicate with students and/or families, please talk to your principal or supervisor who can request the access you need!
How to access ParentSquare
You can access ParentSquare via your web browser at: https://www.parentsquare.com/signin (log-in using your BSD Google account)
There is a ParentSquare icon in Clever for students and staff.
ParentSquare also has a mobile app.
When you log-in the first time, you will get an email sent to your BSD email to verify the account. If you do not see this email, please check your junk mail folders.
ParentSquare for Android
ParentSquare for iOS
Two quick videos will help you get started!
You must be logged in to ParentSquare to access training videos!
Basic Navigation Overview: This is an 8-minute video providing an an overview of navigating ParentSquare (meant for teachers/coaches but a good overview for all users)
Getting Help in ParentSquare: This is a 3-minute video on getting help with ParentSquare.
Important clarification: Parents do NOT have to use ParentSquare to get our communication!
ParentSquare functions like our former mass notification system (Blackboard), sending emails and texts to all parent/guardians for whom we have accurate contact information. If a parent chooses NOT to use the ParentSquare desktop or mobile app, they will still receive our communication via email or text message - depending on what information we have for them in Skyward. The text will provide a link to the ParentSquare message that went out, but does NOT require a log-in to view the message.
If parents are not getting our communication it is likely because:
- Our emails are going into their junk mail or
- We do not have updated contact information for them in Skyward.
If a parent is not getting our communication, please have them check their junk mail folder. If that is not the issue, please have them contact the school office to confirm that their information in Skyward is updated. If there are other issues, the school OC can escalate the help request.
