IPA Kishwaukee Region Student Leadership Award

Congratulations to Frankie Gomez (DHS) and Dulce Medrano (NBCOOP) for being honored and presented the student leadership award this past week at the IPA Kishwaukee Region Student Leadership awards ceremony! Each year, two seniors are awarded the student leadership award from each school and these two students and other seniors from our U46 high schools were celebrated at the Holiday Inn banquet hall in Crystal Lake. I am so proud of their accomplishments!

Art Institute of Chicago Field Trip

Students from English and Art class attended a field trip to our very own iconic Art Institute of Chicago. Students at DREAM academy have the ability to participate in community based learning opportunities outside of the classroom so that they can experience history, art, and culture so that they can bring conversations ALIVE in the clasrooms.

Hello Parents and Guardians,

Dream Academy invites you to “Fun Night with a Social/Emotional Focus” on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, from 6-8 pm. During this time, we will provide dinner, snacks and activities (painting, SPA, dancing and crochet) in order to establish and strengthen the school-to-home connection. We understand that our partnership will contribute to positive outcomes for all stakeholders. We will be providing daycare as well.

Please join us. This will be the perfect time to ask questions and get to know the Dream Academy Team. There will be live music and a presentation for social/emotional learning. If you have any questions about the event, please contact the Associate Principal Mr. Martinez-Ortiz at his email: rafaeljosemartinez@u-46.org, or extension: 2761.

Graduation Gowns Information!

An error occurred with the link that was sent to order cap and gowns. Please click here Herffjones and you can order your students cap and gown. Here is a video that will take you through all of the steps. If your student has applied for the Free and reduced lunch waiver, please have them see their counselors to order their cap and gown.
