Wednesday was our first celebration of our Enthusiastic Reader’s Program. Teachers from each grade level selected students who have shown improved reading skills and effort. Students who were nominated by their teacher received a certificate😊 We also celebrated our first Bulldog Ticket/BIG PAW recognition by designating last Wednesday as HAT DAY! Since the start of school we have given out 1,451 tickets for students being recognized by school staff for being Safe, Respectful and Responsible Bulldogs. We’ve also given out 204 Classroom BIG PAWS recognizing classes that demonstrate to our specialists, in our lunchroom and at assemblies how also to be Safe, Respectful, and Responsible Bulldogs.

We have a full week of school this week as we head into October. Coming up later this month will be conferences the week of October 21st - 25th.

Don’t forget that attending school regularly helps students feel good about themselves and school. Missing a day or two can make students feel left out and lost with what is happening in class. Each day counts!
