Sharing the Gift of Music around the Paramus Community
The Paramus High School Orchestra and Jazz Combo brought joy to the Paramus Senior Citizens at their annual holiday luncheon on Wednesday. The talented students filled the room with festive music, spreading holiday cheer and creating a warm, celebratory atmosphere. Their performances featured both classic holiday tunes and lively jazz arrangements, bringing smiles to everyone in attendance. The event served as a heartwarming reminder of the power of music to create lasting memories during this special time of year. Thanks to the musical talents of our gifted students and teachers, the community left the luncheon filled with joy. Additionally, the Paramus High School Honors Saxophone Quintet joined East Brook Middle School on Thursday for a festive celebration at their 7/8 Grade Holiday Concert, adding to the season's spirit of camaraderie and musical excellence.

Safety & Security Guidance
Security Drill Guidance for Students
Stay Calm and Listen: When a security drill begins, remain calm and focus. Listen closely to instructions from your teachers or the PA system.
Follow Directions Promptly: Move to the designated area quickly and quietly. This could mean staying in your classroom, moving to a secure location, or exiting the building. Follow all directions without delay.
Stay Silent and Stay Put: During certain drills, such as lockdowns, it’s essential to stay quiet and remain out of sight. Silence phones and avoid talking to help maintain a safe environment.
Be Alert and Aware: Take every drill seriously, as if it were a real event. Observe your surroundings and note potential exit points and safe spots.
Wait for the All-Clear Message: Remain in place until you hear an official "all clear" message. Do not leave the designated area or return to class until instructed to do so.
Practicing these steps can help ensure everyone’s safety. Remember, drills are in place to prepare us all, so treat each one with attention and respect.
Drop Off Reminder
Please remember, pick up and drop off at the Paramus Public Library is prohibited. The Paramus Police Department is receiving daily complaints from area residents and patrons of the library. Thank you for your cooperation regarding this matter.
