Dear Challenger Families,

We are so excited to welcome our teachers and staff back next week to begin preparing our classrooms for our Challengers. It is going to be such a wonderful year of learning and growing together!

Just a reminder to look for a welcome email from your child's new homeroom teacher on Friday, August 9th around 3 pm. This email will tell you your child's homeroom teacher and switch teacher if you are in grades 2-4.

If you have any new neighbors or friends in your area that have not yet registered their Challenger, please remind them that school is starting very soon. The registration link is on our Ride website. Students must be registered and have submitted all registration documents to attend Meet the Teacher.

Our Meet the Teacher event will take place on Monday, August 12th from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. This is a come-and-go style event. You may come anytime during this window. This event provides you an opportunity to see the campus and classrooms, meet your child's teacher, and drop off school supplies. (If you ordered an EPI supply pack from our PTO, it will be delivered to the classroom and will be waiting for you at your child's desk.)

Starting August 5th you can register for lunch assistance (Free or reduced lunch applications must updated each year) or add money to your child's lunch account for the upcoming school year. You can also drop off a check at the front office to be placed on your child's lunch account. See the links below for Ride's breakfast and lunch meals.

What door or gate do I enter?

• ECSE, PK, KN, enter Door 2.

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd enter Door 15.

• Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Deckert (2nd grade), and 4th grade enter Gate S4.

If you ordered school supplies, we will have them in your child's classroom.

Be sure to designate (with your teacher) how your child will go home on the first day of school and a permanent dismissal transportation there after.
