Please join us on December 18, 2024 in the KRS multi-purpose room for the annual KRS Sing-A-Longs. If your child is in kindergarten, first grade, or second grade, the K-2 Sing-A-Long is scheduled for 9:30 AM. For anyone with a child in third, fourth, or fifth grades the Sing-A-Long time is scheduled for 10:15 AM. For anyone with children in both Sing-A-Longs, please feel free to stay and participate in both. The Sing-A-Longs are not intended to be performances. They are designed to be special times when we may all convene together to sing holiday songs.

For KRS families with children in band, chorus, and orchestra there will be a Winter Concert on December 12, 2024 at 9:30 AM in the KRS multi-purpose room. There will also be a separate concert for the KRS students, teachers, and staff on the same day. We are VERY excited to hear our extremely talented KRS band, chorus, and orchestra, musicians!

To our beloved Kings Road Community,

On behalf of the HealthStart clinic I want to extend our sincerest and deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who contributed to the Thanksgiving Food Drive this year. With your incredibly generous support, we were able to reach our goal of feeding 500 families this holiday!!

The excitement that all the children had when discussing the food drive - asking questions, coming up with ideas to not only obtain more food but also funds, is just a testament to this incredible community and how we are all working together to make sure the future is very bright. There is a very special magic within the Kings Road walls and I am forever grateful to be a part of it.

As you embark on your holiday season, please take a moment to remember what a gift you have given to thousands of women and children who without you would not be able to celebrate. You have already made spirits bright all across our surrounding towns.

Please welcome our new head custodian Mr. Darrell Turner! Mr. Turner is very familiar with KRS and will begin as the KRS custodial leader on December 2, 2024. Thank you to Mr. Joseph Therasmond for his work at KRS and we wish him well in his new position at the Madison High School. I will include a picture or Mr. Turner in next week's newsletter.
