Principals Message
Dear Williamsville East Community,
It is my hope that this letter finds you well and it is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Williamsville East High School. My name is Jason Swenson and I am honored to serve this community as your next Principal. I have spent the last 23 years as a public educator including 16 years as a building administrator. As a Principal and a parent myself, I fully understand the responsibility that you place your trust in me everyday to keep your child safe and to provide a positive, inclusive environment. My number one goal is safety and to foster an environment where all students feel they belong and have the opportunity to explore their full potential.
I am very proud to be joining a terrific team here at Williamsville East High School. The administrative team, faculty and staff are excited for this next chapter and we all look forward to continuing the rich traditions of academic and extra-curricular excellence. Williamsville East High School has always provided an extensive program that meets the needs of our diverse population and we look to continue to further enrich our programming to meet the needs of our students. As we look toward the future, our students face an ever changing and increasingly competitive world. As great as our school is, we need to continue to evolve and strive to meet our students' 21st Century needs. To that end, I ask that we work together to define what students need in order to receive a 21st Century world class education.
I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve the Williamsville East community. I very much look forward to meeting all of you in the coming weeks and months at all of our terrific school events. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime with any questions and/or concerns. My email is jswenson@williamsvillek12.org and as always feel free to call (716) 626-8400.
Respectfully,
Jason T. Swenson
