Band Car Wash
Sept. 30 - Free Car Wash @Zips!
8am until 1,000 cars are washed for FREE (typically goes until 5pm).
HMS & CJH Band students will be working from 11:30-3pm at the Zips near Har-Ber Meadows. Other Band students from Springdale will be working shifts all day between 3 Zips locations.
Our HMS Band students will kick off this fundraiser on Wednesday, Sept. 13th, by collecting donations to help our current Band students in financial need pay for instruments & supplies so that they can have the opportunity to be a part of the Band. If we are able to, we will purchase more French Horns, Baritones, & Tubas for our students who cannot transport them home on the bus and need one to keep at home for practicing.
Individuals typically donate between $10-20 to a band student. Business donations are usually between $100-$1000 (tax deductible).
The FREE car wash at Zips is our THANK YOU to the Springdale community for supporting the Springdale Bands.
Link to donate online.
List "Car Wash Donation" as the description.
Must know student's name and ID number.
Purchase a duck for Hellstern Middle School
Join us at Turnbow Park in Shiloh Square on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11-11:30 a.m. to cheer on your duck at the sixth-annual Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation Duck Race.
Purchased ducks may be earmarked a specific teacher or school. If that duck is one of the top 10 winners of the race, that school or teacher will win a $1,000 grant from the foundation’s Classroom Grants Program to use during the school year for materials or projects of their choosing.
