Your child was given a federal survey form that must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. This important document allows Norfolk Public Schools to qualify for federal funding to support public education. Please take a few moments to complete the form and have your child return it to their block 8 teacher. All your information will be kept confidential. Thank you for your cooperation and have a wonderful evening. Students that return the card the next class period, will receive Blair Bucks.

Thank you PTA
🎃 A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTA for organizing a Halloween Treat event for our dedicated teachers! Thanks to the generous donations from our families, each teacher received a special goodie bag in their mailbox to brighten their day. Your thoughtful support and hard work brought big smiles to our teachers and helped spread the Halloween spirit throughout the school. We’re so grateful for all you do for our community—thank you for making Blair such a wonderful place! 👻🍬🧡
📣 Join Us for Our PTA Meeting! 📣
Families, we invite you to our next PTA meeting on November 12th at 7:00 PM. Your support is critical to helping us provide the best possible experience for our students. Together, we’ll discuss upcoming events, important school initiatives, and ways to make a lasting impact in our community.
When families and teachers collaborate, our students thrive—and we can’t do it without you! Don’t miss this chance to get involved and make a difference. We look forward to seeing you there!
At Blair Middle School, we recognize students who exemplify those character traits our school reinforces through PBIS - Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Different students are nominated each week and those that are selected from each grade level receive a certificate and goodie bag with various items that the students would enjoy. The items on this list will help Blair provide incentives for good behavior.
Students of the Week!
More amazing student work
Ms. Tubbs' students are getting hands-on with imagery while practicing summarization—an excellent way to deepen their understanding of poetic devices and reinforce comprehension skills at the same time.
"Spooktacular" Concert! 👻
🎶 Our 8th grade music students delivered a fantastic performance last Wednesday at our Fall "Spooktacular" Concert! 👻 Congratulations to all the performers for making it such a fun and memorable event. Your hard work and talent truly shone through, bringing Halloween spirit to life with incredible music!
Mark your calendars, because our Winter concerts are just around the corner. We can’t wait to see what’s in store!
Clubs have started!
We are pleased to announce our variety of clubs and grateful for the staff members that are sponsoring these clubs for our students. Activities offered by clubs enable students to learn valuable skills and many of the activities offered by clubs help students to extend and elaborate on the more formal knowledge learned in school.
Times and dates will be shared with you after you sign up by the club sponsor. If you have any questions, please contact the club sponsor. Most clubs will start soon. Clubs will be held on Tuesday or Thursday because we can provide bus transportation (5:07 departure) for students that meet the requirements; club sponsor will let you know if the clubs meets on a different day. A form will be sent home to students when clubs start that give permission for students to stay after school. Students must use this form and sign a permission form to stay back.
