Parent Communcation & Remind
Tech Tip Tuesday (November 8, 2022)

Don't wait until it's too late.
If I don't know the number, I don't pick up the phone.
But I will look at a text or a notification.
Remind is a great way to send messages to groups or individuals.
Also, it's a safe way to communicate with parents (because your personal cell phone number isn't!).
What should I communicate home that I might not be currently?
·Activities and behavior that are going well in the classroom
·Announcements not communicated home by the main office
·Fundraisers
·Opportunities for clubs, extracurriculars, or after school events
Also, you can translate messages, or if their device language is set to another language, it will do it for them!
"Nobody responds to my calls or emails."
You can easily see how many people received, read, or didn’t get your announcement from the Messages tab.
To view the Message summary for an announcement sent, click the blue arrow (>) on the header of your announcement.
A pop-up box containing message deliverability data will display on your dashboard.
