Basketball Season is upon us, and we wish our teams the best this season as they work to bring home a championship. During basketball season much like football and volleyball, we will have students who want to come and support our teams. A few reminders about what is expected of our students as spectators.
1. Students must go home and then be dropped off for the game.
a. We encourage parents to come to the game with their child to teach them sportsmanship as a spectator.
2. Students must have their student ID with them.
3. All spectators must purchase a ticket online https://gofan.co/
4. All school rules and dress code still apply.
5. All spectators are to stay in one gym, stay in the stands, and not be on the court during the game, during timeouts, or between games.
6. Students are expected to show good sportsmanship.
a. Root for our team and not against the other team- there is a difference.
Attending another campus to watch an event
BOWIE students attending sporting events at another campus will be required to have their ID and to be accompanied by a parent who can take them home at the end of the game. The parent must be present during the entire game. Students will NOT be admitted to the game without an ID or their parent.
Anytime one of our Bears travels to support our team as they play at another campus there are some guidelines that need to be followed.

2. Must attend the game with your parent- the other campus does not know our students or have their emergency contact information so a parent needs to be at the game with their child.
