March 2025
☘️ Burnside Elementary ☘️
Note from the Principal
Dear Burnside Families,
March is (almost) here, and with it comes the promise of spring and new opportunities for learning and growth! As we move into this exciting time of year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education.
Student Success & EngagementThis month, we encourage all students to stay focused and engaged as we head into the final stretch of the school year. Please help us by ensuring your child gets a good night’s rest, attends school regularly, and completes assignments on time. Your support at home makes a tremendous difference in their academic success.
Safety & School Procedures
As the weather warms up, we want to remind families to review arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure a safe and smooth process. If you have any changes in your child’s transportation, please notify the front office in advance.
Volunteer Opportunities
We always welcome parents and guardians to get involved! Whether it’s assisting with classroom activities, helping during school events, or volunteering in the library, your time and support are invaluable. If you are interested, please contact us at 651-385-4700, or contact your child’s teacher.
Thank you for being an integral part of our school community. Your partnership helps create a positive and enriching environment for all students. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wishing you a wonderful March!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Grove, Burnside Principal

LOTS OF LOST & FOUND
Every day students leave their coats, jackets, sweaters, hats, and lunch boxes on the school grounds. Those items without student’s names are picked up and brought to our lost and found located in the hallway by the front of the office. During the school year when the pile gets high, we donate these items. Please be sure to check when you are in the building for conferences. The remaining items will be donated on March 7, 2025.
