Saturday, October 19th: Homecoming dance - 7:30-10:30pm

Underclassmen make up yearbook pictures will be Friday, October 18 in the morning. Students should sign up for pictures using the form in their grade level google classroom

The YMCA of Ballentine/Northwest Columbia hosting a 5k/1 mile run on October 19th. They are looking for volunteers to work the event. Event: YMCA Pumpkin 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run. Students will be able to select different volunteer slots through the link here. The event is Saturday October 19th, from 7am-11am

Thinking of 2025-2026 school year already? Make plans to attend the Escolares Pathway Information Meeting at Irmo Middle School on Thursday, October 17th 5:30-6:30pm.

With just a few weeks until our football team takes on Dutch Fork, Student Council is excited to begin the Irmo v. Dutch Fork Sticker Design Contest. Contest rules are as follows: You must create your own, original design, it must be digital, and you can not mention death or dying. The theme for the game is blackout. Submit your designs via the form in your grade level google classroom. Voting will take place on October 15th. If your design wins, you will recieve 10 copies of your design and you get to host a pizza party for one of your classes! See Mr. Coleman or Peyton Tapp for more info. Happy designing!

Alive at 25 courses are filling up quickly! Register your student at SCNSC.ORG/A25 to

reserve a space so they will be ready to purchase their parking pass this summer. By

registering your child for Alive at 25, they will receive comprehensive training on safe

driving practices, defensive driving techniques, and the importance of making

responsible choices behind the wheel.

Students must complete this course before they can be issued an Irmo High School Student Parking Pass.

In order to become a volunteer or chaperone, please complete the Volunteer Application and Confidentiality Agreement for School Volunteers and return it to the IHS volunteer liaison, Cindy Zakhar, in the main office.
