Spring Picture Day is coming up!

Please look for the Picture Day envelope that was sent home with your student. We also have extra envelopes in the Main Office.

Pence Families: If your student is planning to bring cards and/or Non-Candy items on Thursday February 13 to share with their classmates, please make sure to communicate with your student's teachers and place them in your student's backpacks. Please refrain from dropping off items at the office in an effort to avoid interruption to instructional time.

Also as a reminder, please see below SBUSD's Wellness Policy:

The SBUSD Wellness Policy includes recommendations for Physical Activity and Nutrition. All food

served on campus meets Federal and State guidelines (SB12 & BP5030). All food brought on

campus must comply with these guidelines.

Examples of Permitted Foods: Bottled water, 100% fruit juice, baked chips, fresh fruits and

vegetables, pretzels, graham crackers.

Examples of Food NOT Permitted: Soda, candy, cupcakes, doughnuts, chewing gum, sugary treats,

spicy chips of any kind (including baked).

NAVY SCHOOL LIAISON WEEKLY WRAP-UP

Military families are invited to connect with their School Liaison by signing up to receive a weekly email. A School Liaison’s primary function is to serve as a conduit between parents, educators, and the command so military-connected children experience a seamless transition during the transfer between schools. Once settled, a School Liaison provides military families with up-to-date education and Navy resources available in support of PreK-12 students. To opt in to receive emails from your School Liaison, Mindy Hayes, email nbcslo@us.navy.mil or call 619-991-2509.
