Good afternoon, HBMS Families,

Many congratulations to all of our students on a successful end-of-the-year! One of my favorite traditions at Hawthorne Brook is the "clap out" that occurs during the last completion ceremony rehearsal for the eighth grade (pictured above). Fifth, sixth and seventh graders line the hallways and cheer for the eighth graders as they take one last walk through the school.

Thank you, HBMS families and friends, for all of your support this year. Your children are amazing (and clever and funny and invariably put a smile on my face), and it was an honor to work with them (and you). I truly believe that schools work best when they partner with families, and we are grateful for your support.

We wish everyone a safe and happy summer. We will reach out again in August with beginning of the year information!

From the Health Office

Attention 6th grade parents:

Forms were sent home for current 6th graders who do not have Tdap, MenACWY or up to date physicals on file. These must be on file prior to entering 7th grade.

In accordance with Massachusetts State Law, students must be in compliance with the immunization requirements in order to attend school. Students will not be allowed to attend the first day of school on August 28, 2024 if the above immunization requirements are not met as per Massachusetts State Law.

Please contact your child’s physician as soon as possible to update his/her immunizations with a current physical. Please mail or email all pertinent documents. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me via email at lsheridan@nmrsd.org. Thank you.
