Dear LLM 4-H families,
I hope you all had a safe and Happy Halloween! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and let us see your costumes. Also, thank you to everyone who participated in our Halloween basket give away! I enjoy seeing the message about 4-H shared.
We are still in the middle of award season in the 4-H world. If you are a 4-Her who is 15 or older 4-H age, I would highly encourage you to submit an achievement application. Submitting an application makes you eligible for scholarships and attend National 4-H conference (April 11-16 2025 in Arlington, Virginia) and/or National 4-H Congress (November 29-December 3 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia). These are both great experiences that allow you tremendous networking and resume building opportunities.
There are some exciting things going on in our counties right now! Consider participating in First Lego League Robotics team, Livestock Quiz Bowl or Livestock judging! Bring a friend! You can enroll in 4-H solely to participate in these events. Wishing you a great start to your November!
