We would like to thank Ms. Hudspeth, Ms. Valencia, Mr. Rodriguez, and Mr. Carrillo for having the NHS, Senior Class, Criminal Justice Team and the Diamond of the Desert out at the annual RaceHorse Marathon in our very own Sunland Park Community. We look forward for other opportunities in which our Desert Warriors can give back to their community.

NM Vista information has come out! There was growth in all areas: Graduation, Math, Reading, and Science. Thank you all for your continuous support of all our initiatives and priorities at STHS. Please take a few minutes to do a mini celebratory dance with your student.

Desert Warriors of the Month are nominated by the STHS staff for their Santa Teresa Desert Warrior characteristics: kind, respectful, excellent work ethic, and determined. We do have a few missing however they will be posted as soon as we get their picture and/or their information.

STHS color guard will be selling Turkey Grams, if you can and are able to please support their fundraising efforts.

We have AVANT testing for a selected group of Desert Warriors during the week of Dec 2. If you have any questions please reach out to Mr. Villagrana.

During the week of Dec 9 our academic counselors will be working with the 9th to 11th graders to have them select their courses for next year. It critical that the students show up with their charged chromebooks. Please stay tuned for more information.

Testing will be on Dec 10th in the cafeteria for Sophomores (mandatory), Juniors and Seniors (voluntary). The purpose of this test is career exploration, planning of future courses and identifying strengths and weakness.

Receive assistance from DACC and NMEAF advisors in completing the Financial Aid Application for the upcoming 24-25 school year for college, university or trade school.

This Friday, STHS got an opportunity to randomly select 20 students that had perfect attendance in Aug or Sept. They were recognized by ST administration and attendance clerks. We want to thank our parents and Desert Warriors for their effort to be in school every single day.

Every month we select four Desert Warriors who have Perfect Attendance for that month. We also want to thank our very generous parent donors for the gift cards. If you are interested in giving back to STHS, please reach out to our Attendance Advocate or Social Worker.
